Fishin' with Papa

We recently stayed in Flagstaff, AZ with my parents for a few days. My Dad took the girls and I to a fishing hole. (Hole+water+stocked fish=fun!)

Located in Oak Creek Canyon. If you are ever in Arizona you must drive from Flagstaff to Sedona via Oak Creek Canyon. Oak Creek Canyon= one of my most favorite places in the world.

The girls loved fishing!

They caught 3 fish in like 5.2 minutes. Now that's my kind of fishin'.

Fishing is really hard work.

After you catch your fish, you take them to this really nice lady who cleans them and gets them ready for you to cook. The girls watched. Then the nice lady put the fishy's still beating heart on the window for everyone to see. Like the heart is beating outside of it's body!!! Then the nice lady eats the fishy heart.

California and cute little two year olds

We recently visited our family in Northern California. It was fun to watch all the cousins play. They pretty much lived on the trampoline.

Addy and Logan are both two. Both the "babies" of the family. Both have pacifiers. Both have blankies. They love each other. The were sooo sweet to one another. I don't think I saw them fight over toys once. If one would find the others blankie they would search high and low until the owner was found. I mean, really, how cute can they be?

Lake Tahoe

We just got back Monday from a trip to California, Reno, NV. This would be the reason for no blog posts for a very long time. 16 hour car drive to get there and get back have permanently removed some of my brain cells. The girls did awesome the way there, but the way back was a whole 'nother story. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures while I was there.

I did take some from our day spent at Lake Tahoe. If you've never been you have to go at least once in your life. It's one of the most beautiful places I ever seen.

My husband and our oldest daughter have a love affair with water. They are two peas in a pod.

Addy and Logy were best buds this whole trip. They were bed buddies at night. We put them in the same room to sleep and they would talk to each other in the morning.

Bran Man

Here's more pictures I took of family in California.  My nephew Brandan, who is an awesome model and very handsome.  Thankfully, I took these before the day we took our big family pictures, because he wasn't having allergies in his eyes this day.

Calin, Steven and Aidan

This is my husband's little sister Calin, her husband Steven, and our nephew Aidan.  Two year olds don't really care to have their picture taken.  Aidan, I get it dude. I don't like to have my picture taken either.  I did use the candy bribe trick, and he loved that.  Love and miss you guys!

THE Grandkids

Ok folks, so here are the grandkids pictures.   When you have eight kids that include two 2 year olds (one who chews her hair), two babies under the age of 2, a three year old who needs to be  picking flowers instead of having her picture taken, a four year old who was having some sort of an allergic reaction in his eyes, a five year old and an eight year old, it's extremely hard to get a perfect picture.  But what I love most about these pictures, is the fact that we will look back and remember how crazy and wonderful it was when they were all so young.  In case you were wondering, I picked out all of their clothes.  I think I was a stylist in another life.  If I believed in that sort of thing.  Let me know which one is your favorite.  I love the ones in color, but the best poses are the ones in black and white.

We are back!

We are back from vacation to California.  And I have to say, I am exhausted!  Two days in the car with my kids almost drove me nuts.  I just vegged today to try and get my senses back.   They were awesome on the way there, but very tired on the way back.  It was totally worth it to see family that we love.  We had a blast.  I took tons of pictures, but will take my time posting them through out the week.

Ok, well these next two pictures are of myself.  I was trying to get my darn remote to my camera to work.  These were the only two times it worked and I obviously was not ready!  I ended up just using the timer on the camera.  It's funny to see everyone in the back.  Maybe they were thinking, "How long is Michele gonna make us stand in the middle of nowhere?" "Does she have any clue as to what she is doing?"
